It isn't every day that one of your best friends has a baby. Megan and Tim married in their late 30s and settled into life with Tim's two boys and Megan's cute pooch. While they both hoped a baby would be in their future, they didn't expect to be pregnant within just a few weeks of their wedding! Despite a high-risk pregnancy and being, as Megan laughed, "of advanced maternal age," the birth of Claire Elizabeth went off without a hitch. She was, without a doubt, the most beautiful baby I've ever had the privilege to hold (don't tell my own!). Tears of joy flowed all over that maternity ward as we humbly thanked God for the gift of the baby Megan had prayed for all these years. I was honored to be there to capture it all.
